My interest in becoming a software engineer started after watching Mr. Robot. It was the first time I saw hacking and software as something real and impactful. I remember hearing words like JavaScript, Python, and “script kiddie” for the first time and immediately looking them up, trying to figure out what they actually meant. Everything about coding felt exciting back then, and that curiosity never really went away. I still code because I genuinely enjoy it. Being able to open my laptop and turn an idea into something real still feels a bit like magic, even now.
